Day-dreaming of “running away” from your life (van life, backpacking, soul-searching)
Feeling guilty for complaining about your “perfectly good life”
Pushing yourself to work harder and still not feeling rewarded
It’s tempting to ignore spiritual burnout and think:
“Oh, I’m fine, I should be grateful for my life, others have it way worse.”
“I’m stable and surviving, and that’s enough.”
“I just need to work harder, then I’ll feel good!”
But the longer we ignore spiritual burnout, the more it persists.
